Free software alternative to the iPad

A Spanish company is releasing a free software alternative to the iPad, called the iFreeTablet and will cost about half the price of Apple's iPad. The iFreeTablet naturally supports multi-tasking, as it is based on a Linux distribution.

If this pans out, then this could be hugely significant. However, even if the iFreeTablet does not succeed - either way, it will have shown that there are ways to develop things as least as good as the iPad, that other people can build and expand on.

So I wish the iFreeTablet, the best, and looking into the usability research behind the iFreeTablet, done at the University of Cordob - it should be easier to use and more useful than the Apple product.
